Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical Co, has restarted its methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant, on August 12, 2019. The plant was shut for maintenance, on July 23, 2019. Located in Yulin, Shaanxi, China, the MTO plant has an ethylene capacity of 300 kta and propylene capacity of 300 kta. Shandong Yangmei Hengtong Chemical, has brought on-stream its MTO plant, on August 12, 2019, following an unplanned outage. The plant remained off-line for around 4-5 days, owing to technical issues. Located in Shandong province, China, the MTO plant has an ethylene production capacity of 120 kta and propylene capacity of 180 kta.
