Formosa Petrochemical Corporation (FPCC) is likely to be brought its No.3 cracker in Mailiao. The company has planned to completed turnaround at the cracker in end-September 2017. The cracker was shut for maintenance in mid-August 2017. Located at Mailiao in Taiwan, the No. 3 cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 1.2 mta, propylene production capacity of 600 kta and butadiene production capacity of 176 kta. Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corp. shut its No. 3 naphtha-fed steam cracker at Mailiao August 16 for annual maintenance, while Taiwan's CPC plans to shut its 380 kta No. 4 naphtha-fed steam cracker in Linyuan from mid-November for annual maintenance.
