LyondellBasell will license its Lupotech T high-pressure polyethylene (PE) technology to Jiangsu Fenghai High-Tech Materials Co. for a new vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) line to be built in Jiangsu Province, China. The 200 kta EVA line will be located at a new production site in Lianyungang. This latest award once again demonstrates that our Lupotech T high-pressure process continues to be the process technology of choice for EVA production. The ongoing, global energy transition requires special EVA and LDPE resins for use in solar cell production and other applications, and this new license award will enable Jiangsu Fenghai to support driving this transition.
