Naphtha cracker planned to be taken off-stream by Maruzen

Maruzen Petrochemical is in plans to shut its naphtha cracker for a maintenance turnaround. The cracker is scheduled to be shut in early second week of May 2016. The shutdown is expected to remain in force for around 2 months. The cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 550 kta and propylene capacity of 230 kta that is located at Chiba in Japan.
