Chevron Phillips is likely to shut operations at its styrene monomer (SM) plant. The mill will be taken off-stream for a maintenance turnaround in October 2015 and will remain shut for around 35-40 days. This SM plant has a production capacity of 775 kta that is located at Al-Jubail in Saudi Arabia.
