SM prices decrease a rise in Asia. FOB Korea SM prices were assessed at USD 880 per ton, a decrease of USD 20 per ton WoW. CFR China SM prices were assessed at USD 900 per ton, a fall of USD 25 per ton WoW. Lotte Chemicals has restarted its 580 kta SM plant, located at Daesan, South Korea, on December 1, 2020. The plant was shut since early-March 2020, after the explosion occurred at the upstream cracker in early March 2020.
