Ube Industries has temporarily suspended ammonia production at its Ube-Fujimagari factory in Yamaguchi, Japan, following the discovery of equipment problems. The shutdown, which began on 25 Jan. 2021, is also expected to affect the production of downstream products that utilize ammonia as a raw material.
