Zagros Petrochemicals has undertaken an emergency shutdown at its No. 2 methanol plant at Assaluyeh. The company has halted operations at the plant May 23, 2019 owing to technical glitch. The plant is expected to remain off-line for about a week. The No. 2 plant has a production capacity of 1.65 mta each that is located in Assaluyeh, Iran.
