Formosa Plastics is in plans to shut its vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant in Mailiao. The company is likely to shut its plant for a maintenance turnaround in mid-August 2016. The shutdown will remain in force for around 3-4 weeks. The VCM plant has a production capacity of 800 kta that is located in Mailiao, Taiwan.
