China Man-Made Fiber Corporation (CMMFC) is has shut operations at its MEG plant. The company has taken off-stream its MEG plant early October for a maintenance turnaround. It is scheduled to remain shut for around 8 weeks. The MEG plant has a production capacity of 200 kta that is located at Kaoshiung in Taiwan.
