Formosa Chemical and Fibre Corp (FCFC) is likely to restarts its No. 1 aromatics plant following a maintenance turnaround. The plant is expected to be restarted towards end-May, 2016. The plant was shut in mid-April, 2016. The aromatics plant has a benzene production capacity of 250 kta, toluene production capacity of 470 kta and isomer MX capacity of 100 kta that is located at Mailiao, Taiwan.
