Invista held a grand opening for its new 150 kta state-of-the-art nylon 6,6 plant at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in China. The nylon 6,6 facility is part of an approximately USD 1 billion project that includes a 215 kta hexamethylene diamine (HMDA) facility, which was started up earlier this year. The project would include a 300 kta adiponitrile (AND) unit at the site in the future. All the plants are based on Invista's advanced technologies.
