ECI Group said it has signed a licensing agreement with Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy & Chemical Co. (YECC) to deliver a copolymer plant project in China using its proprietary hybrid reactor technology. The 150 kta copolymer plant, to be built in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, will produce low density polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, ethylene butyl acrylate and other high-value copolymer products. Under the agreement, ECI will provide the technology license, process design package, and detailed design for the high-pressure system, as well as technical procurement services for the project and on-site technical support during installation, start-up and performance assessment.
